I have been reading the comment book entries and my cup runneth over with appreciation and humility.
When I and my brother William decided to open Cinnamon, our sincere desire to show the wonderful people of Highland Park how delicious vegetarian food can be was much deeper than our business sense was. Still, after our lesson-learning first year, we held on to our faith in our vision. We survived that critical first year thanks to your faith in us.
We never dreamed that our humble restaurant would earn this level of appreciation even though we hoped it would. Great as our faith was, we wouldn't have dared to imagine a day like today where new customers visited from as far away as Riverside and Long Beach and Valencia to taste our Chicken Mole and Pozole Soup.
Cinnamon is earning a positive reputation in this wonderful city. William and I want to thank you for being a large part of the joy and fun of this thing we all know as "Cinnamon". We will continue to perfect our offerings of food and service. Watch for some exciting changes soon including new menu items.
